Ekolution has expanded its hemp fiber production capabilities with the commissioning of an advanced teXline bast fiber line at its new facility in Malmö, Sweden. The cutting-edge equipment, supplied by international technology group ANDRITZ, enables the decortication and refining of industrial hemp, alongside a neXline airlay system for manufacturing nonwoven felts. This investment significantly boosts the production of eco-friendly hemp fibers, reinforcing Ekolution’s commitment to sustainability and resource efficiency.

The advanced machinery operates with low energy consumption and a compact land footprint, ensuring efficient and environmentally responsible production processes.
Ekolution's hemp fiber insulation has already been incorporated into several major projects, showcasing its versatility and effectiveness in modern construction.
This project utilized 6,500 m³ of Ekolution's hemp fiber insulation, achieving net-zero emissions throughout its lifecycle. The insulation was tailored to fit the prefabricated elements, resulting in zero waste during production.
Located in a new area with a strong focus on environmental and social sustainability, this project involved the construction of 40 rental homes insulated with Ekolution's hemp fiber insulation. By replacing traditional insulation with hemp fiber, the project's climate impact was reduced by up to five percent.
Touted as Sweden's greenest and largest wooden parking garage, this facility incorporated 400 m³ of Ekolution's hemp fiber insulation. The garage features solar panels, plant-covered facades, stormwater recycling, numerous charging stations for electric vehicles, and smart energy optimization solutions.
